Syntax and Description of the DCOUNTA Excel Function
return value
I'm trying to get the syntax for DCOUNTA function to return a value in a excel spreadsheet.
A:
=DCOUNTA(A:A, "*Things*")
Will return the number of cells in column A that contain the word "Things". Replace "Things" with what you want to count.
