Syntax and Description of the TRUNC Excel Function
The syntax for the TRUNC function in Microsoft Excel is: TRUNC( number, [num_digits] ) Number is the number you want to truncate. Num_digits is the number of digits you want to keep to the right of the decimal point. If omitted, num_digits is assumed to be 0.
