Syntax and Description of the INFO Excel Function
The syntax for the INFO function in Microsoft Excel is as follows: =INFO(type_text) Where type_text is the type of information you want to retrieve. The type_text argument can be one of the following: • "dir": Returns the current working directory. • "numfile": Returns the number of open files. • "recalc": Returns the recalculation mode of the workbook. • "refmode": Returns the reference mode of the workbook. • "sheet": Returns the name of the active sheet. • "file": Returns the name of the workbook.
