Syntax and Description of the GESTEP Excel Function

=GESTEP(number,step) The GESTEP function syntax has the following arguments: Number Required. The value to test. Step Required. The number that represents the interval between test values. Example Copy the example data in the following table, and paste it in cell A1 of a new Excel worksheet. For formulas to show results, select them, press F2, and then press Enter. About GESTEP Excel Function

The GESTEP function returns the number 1 if the first argument is greater than the step argument, and 0 otherwise. The step argument is optional and defaults to 1.
