Syntax and Description of the DMIN Excel Function

The syntax for the DMIN function in Microsoft Excel is: =DMIN(database, field, criteria) database - The range of cells that makes up the list or database. A database is a list of related data in which rows of related information are records, and columns of data are fields. The first row of the list contains labels for each column. field - The column in the database that you want to evaluate against the criteria. criteria - The range of cells that contains the conditions you specify. The cells must be adjacent to each other.
